These are a few of my favorite things (from the past few days)...
- Ty is really big on "why" these days. After daycare on Wednesday, Mitch and Ty went to Sonic to grab dinner. Ty asked where I was, Mitch told him work, of course, Ty asked why. Mitch said to make money. Ty asked why. Mitch said we needed money so we could get milkshakes. Ty contemplated about it for a bit, then looked at Mitch and said, "Mama come home now. We already got milkshakes now."
- I accidently hit Tyler's elbow on my bowl of popcorn and said, "oh sorry, Ty." He responds, "Ty sorry too Mom." Yes son, you should be.
- Dad: I love you Ty. Ty: I love you too, Dada. That seems so silly, but him adding the "too" is so sweet!
- Tyler keeps talking about his baby brother...I had to text Mitch and ask him if there was something I needed to know about.
- We pray every night before bedtime. We pray for Tyler Juden to watch over Ty-Ty, we pray for all of the babies in Newtown, we pray for all of the sad Mommies and Daddies, we pray to be a good boy, we pray for our people we love, we pray for lots! Ty repeats after us, but we are starting to ask him who he wants to pray for too. Wednesday, Ty said he wanted to pray for "Mama and Dada baby." Mitch said, "are you our baby?" Ty said, "no, mama and daddy new baby." Well folks, unless he knows something I don't, this is false.
- Mitch was still laying in bed after Ty and I had gotten up and played a bit. Ty goes back in our room and says, "oh no, Dada is sick. You need medicine. One minute." Walks to our cabinet where there is medicine, gets his medicine dropper and a large bottle of shampoo. He takes it back to Mitch and pretends to get some shampoo out, puts the dropper in Mitch's mouth and says, "all better now."
- Ty got to go hang out at Stephanie & Jeff's house. They always give him M&M's. Last night on his way home, Ty told Mitch, "Jeff gave me M&M's and I said thank-you. I love Steph and Jeff." The way to Ty's heart!
- We were headed to the farm but I had to run by work first. We pull into the parking lot in New Market Square and Ty looks at me and says, "this not farm!!" Needless to say, he was not impressed.
They say that when your children start talking about baby siblings, it means the momma is pregnant or will get pregnant soon. Yayyy for another niece/ nephew!! ;)
